Texas Representative Debbie Riddle authored a bill to require voters to show a picture ID to ensure the "integrity" of elections. Section 47 of the Rules and Precedents of the Texas House reads "Any member found guilty by the house of knowingly voting for another member on the voting machine shall be subject to discipline deemed appropriate by the house." A TV station in Texas caught Debbie Riddle voting for someone else during a House vote. When asked about this, she explained, "We have a lot of votes. We have a lot of amendments, and there's [sic] times when we don't break for lunch, and we don't break for dinner, we don't have bathroom breaks."
Gotta love politicians.
