Yesterday was a fun day for baking. I made
- Rum Balls
- Triple-Chocolate Cookies (1 pound of chocolate, 1/2 cup of cocoa powder, 1 bag of chocolate chips)
Making the Baklava was a challenge because it was the first time I ever worked with phyllo dough for the first time. It was not easy to work with, but learning occurred and it was much easier by the time I was putting the last few sheet into place. I also clarified butter for the first time yesterday and have no idea why I thought that it was going to be difficult.
