About Weight Watchers Recipe Cards from around 1974

Previous Entry Weight Watchers Recipe Cards from around 1974 Apr. 18th, 2006 @ 10:19 am Next Entry
Someone has found a number of Weight Watchers recipe cards from around 1974 and has started scanning in the pictures and posting commentary. The names of the foods sound scary, for example: liver paté en masque. But that one gets even worse when you notice the ceramic yellow pig in the background of the photo. If that wasn't bad enough, I have only two words to say: Frankfurter Spectacular.

I must thank Randy Cassingham, who writes This is True for making this a Bonzer Web Site of the Week and bringing it to my attention.

Other interesting cullinary pages:

Neil Gaiman talking about the juice of the day at a hotel he stayed at.

Orson Scott Card on sweet salads (scroll down, it is more than halfway down the page).
